Travis King was born on September 1st in Louisville, Kentucky, but makes his home in Southern Indiana - away from the hustle and bustle of city life. An original member of Matt Sexton & Co.- which performs regularly at Tynkers Too/Club Rage - in downtown Louisville - Travis LOVES to perform! In December 1999, Travis was crowned Mr. Tynkers 2000 by a panel of respected judges from all facets of Louisville's entertainment scene - needless to say, Travis was THRILLED, and continues to maintain his title proudly.

Travis, who didn't begin his kinging career until August 1999, was no slacker in his first year of performing. Notching the Mr. Tynkers title was of course exciting since Travis will always consider Tynkers Too/Club Rage his home base; but, he certainly didn't keep his profile limited to the Louisville area. In fact, Travis performed a kinetic AC\DC solo on the same stage as Columbus, Ohio's popular H.I.S. Kings during the First International Drag King Conference last October; and then gained international kudos when he entered and won the England-based Rainbow Network's International Drag King Photo Contest with the picture featured on this page!
